Mehdi Taremi's season has not started well with Porto. The Iranian striker who is 31 years old has only managed to score 2 goals and 1 assist after 10 matches.
There's likely more than one reason for distraction in the mind of the Iranian striker who, last summer, came close to joining Milan until the penultimate day of the transfer window. The fees demanded by the intermediaries appointed by Porto had practically caused the deal to fail.
The Rossoneri managers, however, are reportedly still interested in signing the former Rio Ave forward, but there is no official offers or moves done yet in view of a possible attempt in January.
Taremi's contract is set to run out in 2024. For AC Milan, therefore, he bcomes an appealing option economically. But, an eye must be kept on Inter who are reportedly keen on him as well. The Nerazzurri, in fact, could try to sign him to replace their injured striker Arnautovic, according to Calciomercato.com.
On the other hand, Porto made it clear that they might give the green light to a possible transfer of their star only if they are presented with an offer exceeding 10 million euros.
