After two starts in the league and a substitute appearance in the Champions League for AC Milan, Yacine Adli is ready to step up for the third time and is expected to be chosen by Pioli as the deep-lying midfielder in the Rossoneri's lineup tonight against Genoa.
The daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, in this morning's print edition, dedicated the following headline to the former Girondins de Bordeaux talent:
"Adli ready to seize another opportunity in the Rossoneri's midfield."
The Franco-Algerian has performed well up until this point, considering he hasn't had regular playing time for over a year.
For Yacine Adli, this is definitely an important match. He needs to be able to prove himself in every match he plays so he can still keep the trust of coach Stefano Pioli, especially when Loftus-Cheek and Rade Krunic return from their injuries.
