"Even Tonali and Zaniolo bet." This is the revelation, still to be confirmed, made by Fabrizio Corona through his own Dillinger News website on Instagram, after having already anticipated the investigation into Juventus midfielder Nicolò Fagioli.
"At 6 PM the first evidence on the players involved. In the course of the next week all the evidence and documents with audio and names", he added in a post published on Instagram and then subsequently deleted.
In recent months, the same Corona had anticipated the case linked to Fagioli, which emerged in recent days: the Bianconeri player is in fact under investigation by both the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office and the FIGC Prosecutor's Office for betting.
The investigation, which began months ago, is top secret. An investigation that is still ongoing, which started from some checks that are periodically carried out on online gambling. The platform under the spotlight of the investigators, as far as we know, is one of those on which potentially there could be millions of users. Among these, along with other alleged gamblers, there would be one of the new favorites of the South curve of the Allianz Stadium.
The crime usually carries a fine, but the situation is different for Fagioli, who, being a registered player, risks a long suspension from the sports justice. The player has already been heard by the Figc federal prosecutor's office, the office led by Giuseppe Chinè, after the player himself "self-reported", as explained by his lawyers, Luca Ferrari and Armando Simbari. The question now revolves around what type of bets the player would have placed. You cannot bet on the discipline you practice, which is not excluded that Fagioli has done. Penalty of a three-year suspension.
In the aftermath, Fabrizio Corona was "summoned to the offices of the Milan Police Headquarters" to be heard "as a person informed of the facts" in the context of "the investigation by the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office" into an alleged round of bets on illegal platforms, which also involves Juventus player Nicolò Fagioli. This was explained by the lawyer of the former photographic agent, the lawyer Ivano Chiesa, after Corona in a story on Instagram announced that he was going to the police station.
"He will be heard by the investigators from Turin in the offices of Milan," Chiesa specified. In recent days, in fact, the former 'king of the paparazzi', who recently finished serving his definitive sentences and returned to freedom, on his Dillinger news website had already mentioned Fagioli's name before the news of his involvement in the Turin investigation emerged.
