AC Milan club management is looking for another defender to sign in the future, despite having already purchased Marco Pellegrino's card in the previous summer. In fact, the Rossoneri are aware that Simon Kjaer is not in his best conditions anymore and that is why someone must be brought to take his place soon.

If Milan is still in the running for all competitions in January, there's a probable recourse to the market for a new defender. One profile in particular that catches the attention is a centre-back from Bournemouth: Lloyd Kelly.
The reinforcement would serve as a dual purpose because Kelly is capable of playing also as a left-back.

With difficulties in signing Juan Miranda, it seems that the English defender could also be a strong candidate to also act as backup of theo Hernandez, as per Calcio Style.
Assistance would also come from his contract; Kelly's contract is set to expire on June 30, 2024; providing the opportunity to secure him at no cost for the upcoming summer, or pay a small fee and bring him to Milan as early as January.
The AC Milan target, Lloyd Kelly, stands at 190 centimetres tall. The 25-year-old right-footed Englishman has made 6 appearances so far this season.
