Emil Roback, AC Milan loanee currently playing at Norrkoping in Sweden, had been missing from the team's trainings for 14 days and no one was able to contact him during that period. He returned to training only recently.
The striker did end the concern of fans when he reappeared and decided to open up about his problem. Here are his words:
"I didn't want to see anyone except my family. I suffer from a form of depression."
The appeal from the sporting director Tony Martinsson, worried about the boy's situation, had the desired effect, with Roback himself showing up at the Norrkoping sports center a few hours after the announcement, and subsequently returning to regular training with the team.
The former protégé of Ibra during his time at Hammarby, which led to his move to Milan with the Primavera team, shared his moment: "Lately, I haven't been feeling well, in fact, I'm feeling very bad," he told Sportsbladet. "I felt like my head wasn't in the right place, and I withdrew into myself. It probably wasn't the right thing to do, but that's how it went. I believe it's depression, but it's something I've never experienced before."
