AC Milan's head coach Stefano Pioli, saw his team lose against Juventus at the San Siro. The former Fiorentina boss has lost his 15th game against Allegri tonight. The only goal of the game was scored by Manuel Locatelli, a former Milan player.
Juve's boss, Massimiliano Allegri, has spoken to DAZN after the game and said these words:
"We defended well. Football is made up of incidents, once we were in the lead we didn't start the second half well, but then we found the goal. In the final minutes, we should have managed it better. We shouldn't have allowed them the opportunity to create danger on the counter-attack; Leao is capable of nullifying our advantage. It had been a long time since we last won against Milan, the boys did well. In the final minutes, Milan shouldn't have had possession, we should have done better, even though playing at San Siro is never easy."
On Rafael Leao, Allegri said:
"He managed to escape even from the double marking, but Weah and Gatti did well. We didn't give Milan much. The boys did well in seeking the victory."
On the victory:
"We need to manage the ball better. We shouldn't force the play. One match doesn't change things; Milan, Inter, and Napoli are the favorites for the title, we need to get back into the Champions League. I'm happy with Huijsen's debut, he came in very well."
On Locatelli:
"He's criticized too much. He can certainly improve, but he's a Juventus player."
