Now, as reported by those at Milan News, the team captain and the coach had a 'calm' conversation. The Italian right-back clarified his statements and explained that the words were meant only as an ecouragement to his teammates to give their best in these last three Champions League matches and they were obviously spoken with emotion and in the heat of the moment after a heavy defeat.
The relationship between AC Milan's captain, Davide Calabria and the coach, Stefano Pioli, has never been in question, so much so that recently it was Calabria who, along with the team, organised a video with beautiful images for Pioli on the occasion of the coach's birthday.
