Interviewed after the defeat against Cagliari yesterday, Gabriele Cioffi, the coach of Udinese and the next opponent of AC Milan, spoke like this to the microphones of his official club:
"Everyone gave their all. I'm very sorry we didn't advance to the next round, I'm sorry we didn't go to penalties, which I'm sure we would have won. But I feel like I've won because the trust I gave to the boys was reciprocated."
Udinese's boss continued:
"I would be proud to know that if any of the senior players make a mistake, I have one of the young players ready to contribute. I won by giving them confidence and they won by giving their all. We are ready for Milan", as relayed via Milan News.
