Speaking on Tv Play, Nigeria's national team coach, José Peseiro, commented on the injured players in the national team:
"Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen will not be called up during the next break, we want to avoid any risks. I was very sorry for their injuries: the clubs pay the players and we constantly collaborate with them."
Samuel Chukwueze has recently returned to training with the rest of the team after his injury. He has certainly not reached a top fitness level. According to AC Milan's coach Stefano Pioli in today's press conference, he could play for a few minutes against Paris Saint-Germain at the San Siro. Here are his words:
"Chukwueze has had a bit less playing time, but he has been training for two days. Pulisic will start, and Chukwueze will be ready to replace him."
