Sport Italia's journalist, Gianluigi Longari, wrote about Assan Ouédraogo who is on the shortlist of AC Milan for a possible transfer in the future.
Here are his words, as relayed by Radio Rossonera:
"The one who would require a financial investment is, however, the jewel of Schalke 04, Assan Ouédraogo. As we exclusively reported last week, Inter is very active in this regard, although the leading position belongs to Milan, which for several weeks had already established fruitful contacts with the entourage of this 17-year-old prodigy. The significant news concerns the presence of a release clause of about 12 million euros, which, if paid, would free the 2006-born player from any contractual ties with his current club, leaving the decision-making to the will of the player and his assisting father."
AC Milan and Inter competing for Ouédraogo...
"There is competition from abroad, but the two Milanese clubs believe, for valid reasons on both fronts, that they have outperformed the competition beyond Serie A. The feeling is that by the end of this month, the negotiation could be finalised, with the transfer becoming effective from the next season onwards. It is an exciting duel."
