As known, in recent weeks, AC Milan has lost Marco Pellegrino and Pierre Kalulu due to injury and they will be out of Pioli's plans for some time. This pushed the Rossoneri management to look in the market for potential reinforcements in the centre-bakc positions.
One of the names linked to AC Milan is Lloyd Kelly, whom Geoffrey Moncada reportedly watched live in the match between Bournemouth and Burnley.
Regarding the English defender, there is also interest from Juventus and Tottenham. Dharmesh Sheth, a well-known journalist from Sky Sports' commented on the matter in an interview with GiveMeSport, confirming AC Milan's concrete interest.
Here are his words on the subject, as relayed via Pianeta Milan:
"What is really serious at this stage is Milan and Juventus. Milan had scouts watching Lloyd Kelly. Their technical director personally went to see Lloyd Kelly as well. Italian clubs, in recent history, have developed the habit of going to English clubs and bringing players to Serie A to offer them Champions League football and regular first-team action. Young players like Fikayo Tomori have moved from Chelsea to Milan, and he has only strengthened further. It would be great publicity for other English players who are deciding whether to stay in England or move to the Italian league."
