Today, the extent of Olivier Giroud's suspension will be revealed after the red card that referee Abisso showed him for protests in the 94th minute of the Lecce - Milan match.
Sports Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea will communicate today the decision regarding the suspension imposed on the French striker: according to today's Gazzetta dello Sport, a two-match suspension is looming.
This would mean missing the matches against Fiorentina and Frosinone (with the Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund in between), but being available for the match against Atalanta on December 9th in Bergamo.
Missing the services of Olivier Giroud is surely a big blow for AC Milan. The French forward has helped his team so far this season with 8 goals in 15 matches. He also provided 3 assists to his teammates.
Rafael Leao will also be absent for the next couple of games as well, reportedly, as he is recovering from injury.
The next period, therefore, will be challenging for Stefano Pioli, we'll have to wait and see how he will manage his team.
