AC Milan's Italian right-back, and also European champion with the Italy national team, Alessandro Florenzi, is facing allegations regarding betting activities on illegal websites.
According to the latest news which were revealed by Sky Sport, at 3:30 PM (Italy's time), the former Paris Saint-Germain and AS Roma defender arrived at the premises of the Palace of Justice in Turin to be questioned by prosecutor Manuela Pedrotta, deputy chief prosecutor Enrica Gabetta, and the head of the mobile squad Luigi Mitola.
The Milan player, assisted by the same lawyers as Zaniolo (Tognozzi and Conte), is under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office as part of the investigation into football betting.
He is accused of the unauthorized practice of gaming or betting activities, namely the offense provided for in Article 4 of Law 401 of 1989.
