AC Milan managers continue to think of profiles who can reinforce the defensive line in Stefano Pioli's team. The idea gaining more ground is to postpone the investment until June, while for this upcoming winter transfer window, the aim is to target a strong player on loan from a major club.
The club directos are ready to 'knock on Chelsea's door', according to Calciomercato.com, for the signing of Benoit Badiashile who is a 22-year-ol French centre-back.
Currently, he's not a top choice for Mauricio Pochettino, but it's necessary to verify the willingness of the London club for a possible loan, considering that just 10 months ago, they paid a hefty sum of 38 million euros to Monaco in order to sign him.
Another option (a familiar name as he was linked to the club in the past) is also Chelsea's Malang Sarr who may be an easier target for AC Milan compared to Badiashile.
Malang Sarr is 24 years old, French, left-footed and can play as a left-back if needed. His contract with the Blues runs until the summer of 2025. Chelsea could be more inclined to let the former Nice talent leave.
As for the profile of Jakub Kiwior, the Arsenal defender, he is not seen as an easy target. AC Milan, however, intend to start negotiations with the Gunners.
The Polish center-back appeals to the Rossoneri, who would be ready to present an offer for an expensive loan with a purchase option.
Everything depends on Mikel Arteta's final decision. But at the moment, there isn't much room, it seems.
