In his editorial for La Gazzetta dello Sport, former AC Milan and Juventus coach, Fabio Capello, talks about the Rossoneri January transfer plans, here are his words:
"In January, when Milan's big maneuvers to strengthen the squad will be in full swing, the Rossoneri will already have a 'new signing,' and it will be a great coup: the return of Ismael Bennacer could change the face of the team because Pioli currently lacks a player like him."
On Ismael Bennacer, Capello also said the following:
"The Algerian is now a Milan man through and through, knows the game, and won't need time to take control of the midfield again. With Bennacer, Pioli will gain time."
For context, the former Empoli player is nearing a return to the playing field as he is working at Milanello to reach a full recovery and fitness level.
In a recent interview, he said these words about his recovery:
"I’m not happy [to be injured], but it’s ok. Everything is going well, and I don’t feel anything on my knee. There’s been no reaction as well."
