AC Milan are already studying the market in view of the January transfer market window as the goal of Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada is to reinforce Stefano Pioli's squad.
There is the need to add a central a defender, but also a centre-forward.
The Rossoneri management believes that without Kalulu and Pellegrino, who will still be out for a long time, two starters and a half-fit Kjaer won't be sufficient. Up front, with only Giroud, it's not possible for him to play every match. That's why Milan will work on these fronts in January.
AC Milan's priorities...
According to reports from the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are three names that Milan is exploring for what is the priority for the squad, which is the striker position: Jonathan David, Serhou Guirassy, Akor Adams.
These three players won't be the only targets for the Rossoneri, who will scout the market before finalizing their shopping. Jonathan David is the easiest name to acquire: he costs 40 million, quite a sum, but Milan could leverage the fact that both the player and Lille are not performing well.
Serhou Guirassy costs less, a 17-million release clause - but he's attracting attention from all over Europe. Lastly, Akor Adams, the riskiest of all: he's well liked for his physical impact.
AC Milan also keep an eye on some defenders...
AC Milan will have some spending power in January, but they won't have a huge budget of 200 million euros.
For defence, they are considering loans. At the top of the list of these profiles is the name of Jakub Kiwior, who moved to Arsenal last season. But will the Gunners, after spending 25 million euros agree to a loan move?
The same reasoning applies to Benoit Badiashile from Chelsea. There are also young names in the Pellegrino mold: Konstantinos Koulierakis (PAOK) and Alessandro Marcandalli (in Reggiana on loan from Genoa) are liked, but the road to Milanello is long.
