Federico Bernardeschi, former Juventus' forward who currently plays for MLS side Toronto, was interviewed by Tuttosport director, Guido Vaciago, on the newspaper's 'Instagram' channel and categorically rejected a possible transfer to Milan.
Here are the words of the 29-year-old Italian:
"Juventus is something special for me. I became a man and a footballer at Juventus. I've had a wonderful journey, we've won many trophies, and I'm proud of it."
He continued:
"What will happen, I can't know, but if the opportunity arises, I will certainly respond. I've never hidden my love for Juventus, perhaps I should have shown it a bit more."
Bernardeschi added:
"I'm not someone who shows much of themselves, but this love, I should have displayed it more. There's still so much affection, and that pleases me greatly. I live here in Turin, and when I go around and people stop me, appreciate me, it gives me great pleasure, and I'd like to reciprocate it from the heart."
On a possible move to AC Milan in the future, he said these words:
"Milan? No, no, no. My father is a Milan fan, but for me, Juventus is Juventus."
