Interviewed by SportMediaset Infinity, Paolo Scaroni spoke like this ahead of the Champions League challenge between AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund at the San Siro stadium:
"It's important to enter the Champions League, then the round of 16, etc. Milan must always be in the Champions League, that's our minimum objective. I'm still anxious; these matches make me anxious. Actually, all matches, but this one in particular."
On the stadium:
"Giving dates for these things in Italy is difficult. We think we can start construction next year so that we have the stadium for the 2028/2029 season."
About Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Scaroni said:
"I believe he's coming tonight for the match, sitting next to Cardinale with whom he has excellent relations. We're all waiting to see what he wants to do in a big way, both in Milan and in RedBird's scope. I think Cardinale's presence contributes to understanding Ibrahimovic's future in Milan."
On the transfer market:
"I can't tell you anything specific, but I know that Furlani is attentive and focused for January. The financial sustainability we have gained allows us to look at opportunities with a certain tranquility."
