The Spanish left-back, Juan Miranda, has been on AC Milan's radar for quite some time. The 23-year-old player of Real Betis has a contract which is set to expire at the end of the current season.
AC Milan have an agreement with the former FC Barcelona youth academy graduate in view of a move in July on a free transfer. However, the Rossoneri could try to advance the transfer for January, by paying a small compensation fee to Real Betis.
La Gazzetta dello Sport headlines the following headline:
"Juan Miranda arrives in January. A four-year contract is ready."
AC Milan is prepared to shell out an amount between 3 to 4 million euros, a minimal fee for the club, to secure his services.
Miranda is seen as the long-awaited backup for Theo Hernandez, a player Milan has been searching for, and his arrival would bolster the defensive unit at a time when it's thin and lacking alternatives. A four-year contract is set to be offered.
The talented full-back Juan Miranda turns 24 next January 19th. He has participated in 13 matches with his club so far between Copa del Rey, La Liga, and Europa League competitions. He already has two assists to his name in around 880 minutes of play time.
