Rade Krunic is getting closer to saying goodbye to AC Milan.
According to today's print edition of Tuttosport, the Bosnian midfielder is no longer 'untouchable' for Stefano Pioli. We read the following headline:
"From starter to expendable. Milan and Krunic heading towards parting ways."
The former Empoli midfielder's exit will finance Milan's transfer market. After starting the season as a starter, an injury suddenly halted Krunic's progress, and upon his return, he hasn't been the same. Hence, for Pioli and the club, he's no longer an indispensable part of the squad, especially with Ismael Bennacer returning to reclaim his place in midfield.
Fenerbahce has renewed their interest, and Milan might consider sacrificing the Bosnian. Discussions for contract renewal haven't progressed, allowing Milan to reinvest the earnings in the market.
The Rossoneri aim to sell Krunic for around 10 million, making an 8 million capital gain. With this money, they could expedite Juan Miranda's arrival from Betis, already secured for July regardless.
