Alessandro Florenzi gave an interview to Sky Sport Italia microphones after Atalanta-Milan, a match won by Gasperini's team by 3-2.
Here's the analysis from the full-back:
"Broken bones and disappointment because, in my opinion, we didn't deserve this defeat. I also spoke after the match against Udinese, but those were very different games, especially in terms of the initial approach. We struggled at the beginning of the second half when they changed something. We managed to equalize, but then we conceded Muriel's goal. If you can't win, you shouldn't lose. It was a game where we performed well. When it's 11 against 10, it's understandable that they had an opportunity and scored. In my view, we didn't deserve the defeat, but I don't see a lack of unity within the team in these moments."
Regarding Newcastle, Florenzi said:
"Now we just have to think about the next game, an important match for Milan's journey in Europe. When we progress further, we'll evaluate who we are and what we want to be. Wednesday? We're experiencing it with great emotion and the desire to perform well. It's a do-or-die situation, whether it's the Champions League or the Europa League: we want to do well for the entire Milan environment."
Florenzi concludes:
"Leao? He's our top player, we can't deny how crucial he is for us as a player because he gives us many options up front. Then there are other players who can come on later and cause trouble for the opponent."
