AC Milan's top goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, is definitely managing to attract some eyeballs due to his qualities and abilities. He's a strong player, but also has leadership qualities.
Among the clubs interested in a potential move for him, there is the German club Bayern Munich. But, he is not the only one being closely monitored. In fact, as per Sky Germany's newspaper Florian Plattenberg, Guillaume Restes, 18-year-old Frenchman of Paris Saint-Germain is also on the list. There are also the profiles of Alexander Nübel, Daniel Peretz (who is already at Bayern Munich and could be a candidate to replace Neuer). Gregor Kobel, Swiss goalkeeper of Borussia Dortmund is also appreciated.
Should Neuer decide to retire in 2025, Bayern want to be well prepared with an important player to replace him between the posts.
