Sergino Dest is an American right-back, 23, who played last season on loan for AC Milan. His stint at Milanello did not go as anyone hoped for. This season, he is playing for PSV, also on loan from FC Barcelona.
The former Ajax player spoke to Gianluca Di Marzio in an exclusive interview about his past experienced.
Here are his words:
"It's a wonderful feeling to be back on the field and have more playing time. Of course, I had tough times at Milan, but I'm glad to be at a great club like PSV and to be playing. Eredivisie might not be Serie A or La Liga, which are two major leagues, but I took a step back to take two forward..."
On his time at Milan, Dest said the following words:
"I'm not angry, I have nothing against Coach Pioli. These things happen. But when I did play, I don't think I did badly! Then again, I have my faults, which I take responsibility for, just as he does. But these things remain within."
Dest concluded:
"Currently, I don't follow Milan's matches. Milan is in the past; I'm solely focused on PSV."
