Tomortow afternoon, at 12:30 (Italy time), the match between AC Milan - Monza at the San Siro, valid for Serie A matchday 16 will take place.
The Italian newspaper, Il Corriere della Sera, spoke about the encounter between friends: CEO of Monza, Adriano Galliani, and the AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who, if the fever allows it, will make his first appearance in his new role, the senior advisor of the Rossoneri club.
Adriano Galliani and Zlatan Ibrahimović share a strong friendship. The executive brought Zlatan to Milan in 2010. They had a falling out in 2012 when Galliani had to sell him to Paris Saint-Germain, to balance the club's financial situation, despite Ibra never wanting to leave the Rossoneri. However, they later cleared things up and reconciled. Galliani even tried multiple times to bring Ibrahimović to Monza, but his attempts never materialised.
Tomorrow, before the Milan-Monza game, there will be a heartfelt embrace between the two, in a special match, especially meaningful for Galliani. This is also because it will be the first match without Silvio Berlusconi, former President of both teams, who passed away last June 12th.
Here's what Galliani told the newspaper regarding tomorrow's match:
"When Ibra was appointed as a consultant, I immediately sent him a message to congratulate him. It will be an even more special match. I will train not to move a muscle, whether it's a goal for Monza or a goal for Milan."
