As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, in the attack, the profile of Serhou Guirassy seems to have surpassed Jonathan David in the preferences of the Rossoneri.
The reason is rather simple: the Stuttgart striker has a release clause around 17 million euros, while for the Canadian forward, an agreement would need to be reached with Lille (not simple, as it would require at least 30-40 million euros).
Complicating matters, however, is the fierce competition, as half of Europe has set their sights on the Guinean player who has already scored 18 goals after 15 matches this season.
To reinforce the defence, AC Milan are also keeping an eye on the profile of Clément Lenglet. As for Matteo Gabbia, it seems it is becoming more unlikely that he returns from Villarreal in January.
Aston Villa's Clément Lenglet is on loan from FC Barcelona. He is yet to play a single minute in the Premier League competition. He only featured in the UEFA Conference League. According to the latest news, a move to AC Milan could be preferred. His salary, however, is significant. If the Rossoneri want to sign him, then they need to convince FC Barcelona to pay part of his wages in another loan move for him.
