AC Milan have taken interest in signing Bournemouth midfielder Hamed Traoré, according to some sources recently.
The player who is reportedly wanted by the Rossoneri, will be out for some time, however, and unfortunately as he has contracted Malaria.
The official statement from Bournemouth reads the following:
AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola says that Hamed Traorè will be out for “some time” after a spell in hospital with Malaria.
The Ivorian international will miss the African Cup of Nations due to his ill health and will continue to undergo further medical tests.
Encouragingly, he has been sent home to recover from the disease and Iraola said: “Right now, he is recovering much better.
“The past few weeks have been a tough situation for him personally and from a sporting perspective, he will be out for some time.
“We have to make sure that he is OK and he recovers properly, he will be out for some time.”
