Sampdoria, currently 10th in the Serie B standings, are planning to reinforce their squad. According to the latest news reports, it seems that they have taken interest in AC Milan's young Serbian forward Marko Lazetic, who joined the club in January 2022 from Red Star Belgrade.
Already, two years ago in winter, Sampdoria had shown interest in the player in question, but the deal didn't materialise.
Sampdoria had also made moves for Lazetic last winter, and now they seem ready to make another attempt for him.
According to Il Secolo XIX, the Genoa-based club management reportedly made an inquiry with the Rossoneri club management for the player, who is currently on loan at Fortuna Sittard in Eredivisie but returning to Italy. However, there are several Serie B clubs interested in 19-year-old striker Marko Lazetic, starting with Brescia.
