Matteo Gabbia spoke to Sky Sport at the end of Milan-Roma 3-1.
"I think we tried to work well during the week; sometimes the results don't reflect our effort. I'm glad we were able to turn the page immediately and win against a strong opponent. Now, we need continuity."
Are there any regrets?
"Regrets are there, but they need to be set aside. Now is the time to push. At the end of the season, we will take stock. It's better to look to the future than the past."
What situation did you find at Milan? Gabbia said:
"I found a very strong team, a very united group, and a highly motivated staff. Difficulties can happen; the opponent is strong. I look at the glass half full; we reacted and scored a beautiful goal. I found a solid group, and I am very happy to be back."
Are you more comfortable with the ball?
" I work to improve. In Spain, it was an extremely formative experience, it made me very happy. I need to improve and work to try to be the best version of myself."
