Carlo Ancelotti spoke at a press conference on the eve of the Copa del Rey derby against Atlético Madrid, which will take place at the Metropolitano. Among the questions he received, there was one about Brahim Diaz, who was on loan at AC Milan for three seasons. Here are his words:
Brahim Diaz's growth:
"He returned after years at Milan with more tactical knowledge and more strength; he is more powerful. In tight spaces, he is very valuable, important in defence, works hard in any position. He performs well wherever you place him, helping us a lot; he is very complete."
Ancelotti also mentioned Arrigo Sacchi:
"I like the atmosphere here, in the club, in the locker room; I think success is mainly due to this: a motivated group, a strong team spirit. We must not forget that the team plays good football, is solid, has clear ideas—these are the three components that give you success. I'm not saying this; Sacchi told me on the phone yesterday."
