Junior Messias spoke to 'Il Secolo XIX' about his past experience with the Rossoneri club.
Here are his words:
"At Milan, there was too much pressure, I played not to make mistakes."
The current Genoa player has spoken about the happiness and serenity he has found at Genoa:
"The enthusiasm I found here was important. The main thing, however, was the desire to play with joy again. It's not that you don't have joy playing at Milan, you're at the top of the top, but there I realized I was stepping onto the field not to make mistakes. I was criticized during that time, and if you mentally focus on that, in the end, you make mistakes."
Messias added:
"I wanted to go back to being the player I was at Crotone, and I thought Genoa could allow me to be that player again."
