Italian journalist Claudio Raimondi of SportMediaset, provided an update on AC Milan's finances.
The Rossoneri club is, in fact, aiming to gift their head coach Stefano Pioli a new central defender in the current transfer market window.
Here are his statements:
"The Milan defender will not be Buongiorno. Cairo is not selling him, but it could be a future operation. Therefore, Milan is now focusing on Brassier, with Brest resisting and continuing to demand 12 million euros for the French center-back. However, Milan hopes that time will work in its favour and that there could be a discount, allowing them to conclude the deal around 8 million euros."
