AC Milan is once again looking in the Premier League for reinforcements. The management, in fact, aims to add a new defender in the squad. The defence is a department which has suffered a lot due to injuries and many goals have been conceded this season so far.
Given the difficult task in purchasing Alessandro Buongiorno's card from Torino, the Rossoneri managers at Casa Milan have once again targeted the English league for a loan transfer.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, as reported on the 'Calciomercato l’Originale', the Rossoneri club has made a last-minute attempt for 27-year-old player Caglar Soyuncu of Atletico Madrid, just like Roma. The Turkish defender, however, is set to join Fenerbahce.
The first choice in the Premier League remains Clement Lenglet of Aston Villa, but it is a challenging deal as he has returned to playing as a starter for Aston Villa. Alternatives include Jakub Kiwior, for whom Arsenal might consider a loan, and Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea. However, the management wants to be cautious with the latter due to his recent injury.
