AS Roma is going through a period changes in the management: the dismissal of Jose Mourinho preceded the departure of sports director Tiago Pinto by just a few weeks, as announced earlier in the year.
The Portuguese director will leave the capital starting from the month of February, after completing this winter transfer window. In these weeks, the Friedkin family is therefore in search of a replacement.
The most credible name seems to be that of Englishman Paul Mitchell, who has significant experience first with Southampton and then in the Red Bull family: Leipzig, New York, and Brazil. Another contender could be the German Christophe Vivell, also from the Red Bull family.
Amidst all this, however, a third name emerges and could mark a return. It is the former sports director of AC Milan, Frederic "Ricky" Massara, who, after being dismissed in June, is still available and is familiar with the Giallorossi environment as well as the new coach Daniele De Rossi, as relayed via Milan News.
