La Gazzetta dello Sport, in this morning's print edition, commented on the decision to close the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine for one match with the following headline:
"Racism, a tough stance."
In fact, in two days, when the Udinese team returns to play at home against AC Monza, they will do so without the possibility of being supported by their fans in the stands of the stadium. Ten fans involved in jeers at Maignan, therefore, closed doors against Monza.
Meanwhile, Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi is mobilising to promote and organise concrete actions.
For tomorrow, Piantedosi has a meeting scheduled with the Federation and Leagues to address the issue and outline a modus operandi. The idea is that a very tough stance is needed: the focus is on the arrest of those who commit and are accomplices to racist acts, as is the case in England.
