Italian newspaper Tuttosport in this morning's print edition wrote that despite AC Milan's CEO Giorgio Furlani having ideally closed the incoming transfer market for the defensive department on Saturday evening, the Rossoneri are still considering the possibility of satisfying coach Pioli with the addition of another center-back.
According to Sky, as we reported last night, an attempt will be made to loan Turkish player Merih Demiral from Al-Ahli. Formerly with Juventus and Sassuolo, Demiral was purchased by the Saudi club in the summer for 18 million from Atalanta.
The negotiation is not an easy feat. But, Milan will also explore other options to see if there is an opportunity to bring in a new reinforcement at relatively reasonable costs. They have until February 1 to try to find a new addition.
