AC Milan have been keeping a close eye on the transfer market window, trying to seize an opportunity for a possible defensive reinforcements. But, as the clock is ticking, it seems that a move is difficult for now.
According to Calciomercato.com, though, contacts remain alive for Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal, Clément Lenglet from Barcelona (on loan to Aston Villa), and Lilian Brassier, but last-minute surprise solutions are not ruled out. For the future, Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D'Ottavio are seriously considering securing a new defensive reinforcement on a free transfer already in February.
Tosin Adarabioyo is the main candidate to wear Milan's shirt next season. The English defender from Fulham will be out of contract in July and has not yet accepted the renewal proposal from the London club. Moncada has already had more than one positive contact with the player's brother who is also his agent, and there are good chances that the deal will go through.
In recent weeks, Milan has inquired again about the situation of Lloyd Kelly as well. The Bournemouth central defender will also be available for free next summer, but in this case, the competition is much broader. Looking ahead, Milan is making a move for a low-cost deal.
