AC Milan's transfer market window in the winter was not very active. The club recalled Gabbia from loan and signed Filippo Terracciano from Hellas Verona. A new central defender did not arrive.
The Rossoneri, however, will have different plans in the summer. The management will seek a new striker as they have highlighted in their shortlist a few interesting names.
In fact, as per Il Corriere dello Sport in this mornnig's print edition, there is talk about Benjamin Sesko who is a 20-year-old Slovenian striker currently plying his trade in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig.
In Germany, they are convinced that Milan will make a serious attempt for the player whom RB Leipzig paid 23 million euros for last summer.
He has a release clause of 50 million euros, but Milan, as reported, would not want to offer more than 40 million euros. Moreover, many teams, especially from the Premier League, have set their eyes on the young forward. Certainly, an investment will come, regardless of Giroud's choice.
