AC Milan's loanee, Marco Pellegrino, has made his debut with Salernitana and contributed to his new team's effort to secure a point in the draw against Torino. He replaced Jerome Boateng in the 61st minute.
Filippo Inzaghi, Salernitana's coach, made sure to give the Argentinian central defender some time to showcase his abilities, but also to regain some fitness as he returned recently from a long-term injury.
Meanwhile, AC Milan will monitor the player's situation closely. Pellegrino is on loan at Salernitana until the end of the season and the hope is that he will be a brand new reinforcement next season, fit and finally familiar with Italian football.
