Speaking to 'Si Gonfia la Rete' Vincenzo Morabito, a well-known agent and intermediary of Olivier Giroud, spoke about the AC Milan forward as follows:
"Giroud is one of the few forwards capable of keeping the team high, he has an important aerial game, as well as his ability to get into positions. The season following the championship win, Milan reached the Champions League semifinals; however, in the league, the arrival of players who were not quite suitable weighed heavily, because I believe the squad was not equipped for the double competition. I believe Giroud was decisive in winning the championship."
On Olivier Giroud's future (his contract expires at the end of the current season):
"Giroud's future? Agreements involve two parties, I believe this end of the season will be decisive. He is comfortable at Milan, but he also has to consider his family. He turned down Arab money because he doesn't focus too much on money and because he has an important connection with the team, but I think we'll have to wait. In the meantime, he will give his all for Milan."
