AC Milan continue to monitor some important young talents who can unleash their potential and qualities in the future. Geoffrey Moncada and his team of collaborators have many names to analyse, including one Paris Brunner, a centre-forward at Borussia Dortmund's Under-19 team.
He made headlines a few times already, but not in the way you'd expect. In fact, in October 2023, the German club suspended him for 'disciplinary reasons' (rumors suggest it was for displaying extreme right-wing political tendencies), and then, in January of this year, he faced another suspension for breaking curfew along with teammate Cole Campbell during an away trip.
Brunner's talent who stands at 186 centimetres tall, however, is undeniable, as relayed via PianetaMilan.it: the stalwart of the German Under 17 National Team is a true goal scorer. This season, with BVB's youth team, he scored 11 goals in 11 league matches and added 2 more in 5 Youth League games.
In this season's Youth League, Brunner, who is right-footed, also faced and scored against the AC Milan Primavera team in the first leg played in Germany, which Ignazio Abate's team won 1-2.
Now, with his contract expiring on June 30, 2025, and with Borussia Dortmund's trust in him at an all-time low, it's plausible that Brunner will leave in the summer transfer window.
Linked repeatedly to AC Milan and Juventus, what could be his destination? According to various reports in Germany, including 'Ruhr Nachrichten' (a Dortmund newspaper) and BILD, his father has been making moves to secure his future.
Norbert Brunner, Paris's father-agent, reportedly flew to Italy in recent days to discuss the striker - who will turn 18 on February 15 - "with two top Italian clubs." Could these clubs be Milan and Juventus? The clues seem to point in that direction. After all, the Rossoneri management has had a close look at him during this season's edition of the Youth Europa League.
