Manuele Baiocchini, Sky Sport Italia journalist, spoke about the AC Milan team this way:
"The Rossoneri squad has recovered. Since their last defeat against Atalanta on December 9th, they have won 7 games and drawn two. The Rossoneri have an average of 2.55 points per game, a Scudetto level indeed, if Inter were not having an extraordinary season and if Milan hadn't dropped important points in November. At this moment, however, Milan is not in the race for the title but intends to win all and see what happens."
On the injuries issues at Milanello, the journalist said:
"There are three updates for Milan, one negative concerning Calabria. The tests undergone by the Milan captain have revealed edema in the short left adductor muscle. Nothing particularly serious, but he will miss the matches against Rennes and Monza and will then be reassessed next week. Thiaw and Caldara are back in training with the group, having recovered, as they trained regularly with the group today."
