AC Milan's transfer market session in winter ended with only having signed Filippo Terracciano and recalling Matteo Gabbia back from his loan at Villarreal. The club communicated to the media, through CEO Giorgio Furlani, that they do not intend to sign players in the market just for the sake of signing anyone. That is why not many moves were made, because not the best opportunities emerged on the radar.
In the summer transfer window, however, the situation should be different. In fact, the club is considering different profiles, especially for the attack.
The latest idea at Casa Milan is leading to Brazil, where Yuri Alberto is shining. The 22-year-old striker, currently at Corinthians, according to MasFichajes, has caught the attention of the Rossoneri club management who would be willing to bring him back to the European football scene for a fee around 15 million euros.
The former Zenit Zenit Saint Petersburg player, however, has also caught attention of other clubs such as Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers, La Liga club Sevilla, and Brazilian outfit Atlético Mineiro. AC Milan, though, seems to be the most attractive destination for the striker.
Yuri Alberto's contract with Corinthians runs until December 2027. He stands at 183 centimetres tall and is right-footed.
