The Italian newspaper Tuttsport revealed that the 26-year-old Italian goalkeeper Di Gregorio, who plays for AC Monza, is on AC Milan's radar.
Obviously, the Rossoneri have Mike Maignan at home who is among the best in the world in his position, and he is requesting around 8 million euros net per season. But, planning for future scenarios is an important step in order to not be caught unprepared.
Di Gregorio is a strong goalkeeper who has been performing very well in Serie A. In the last time, on December 17th at San Siro, the Rossoneri won 3-0, but both were protagonists of a good match, Maignan miraculously saving against Colpani and Di Gregorio avoiding a catastrophic result thanks to his several saves.
Tomorrow's match between AC Milan and Monza, however, will have a different appeal because for a few weeks now, as per previous reports, Milan has set its sights on Di Gregorio. No imminent negotiation, but an interest to delve into in case an irresistible offer for Maignan were to arrive in the summer.
Michele Di Gregorio, who grew up in Inter's youth academy but is a Rossoneri fan, is one of the profiles most appreciated by Milan in case they find themselves in the uncomfortable position of thinking about a new goalkeeper.
Monza, which yesterday announced the renewal of Warren Bondo until 2027, has already received interest from English clubs and values its goalkeeper no less than 20 million euros, which is what Tottenham paid Empoli last summer to take Vicario.
