AC Milan managers have a plan to protect their jewel and youngster, Francesco Camarda. His talent is clear for everyone at the club and they value his profile highly.
He has already made his Serie A debut on November 25, 2023, in the match against Fiorentina. We are talking about a young man who not only seems to be progressing rapidly but also appears to be keeping his foot on the ground. On March 10, he will turn 16, and according to regulations, he could sign his first professional contract which could have a maximum duration of three years.
There are several clubs who would like to sign him and snatch him from the Rossoneri, such as Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City. AC Milan, however, are calm regarding this front. In fact, as per Mondo Primavera, the Italian club has reached a total agreement with agent Beppe Riso for the extension of the contract.
At this point, two aspects need to be specified. The signature on Francesco Camarda's contract renewal with Milan, it is stated, should take place in the summer and not upon turning 16. This would increase the risk of a potential insertion by a European powerhouse, but at the same time, it would allow the Rossoneri to secure him until 2027.
If he were to sign on March 10, the expiration would naturally be set for 2026. The second aspect concerns the figures: the 2008-born player is expected to sign a contract which would guarantee him a salary of 400 thousand euros plus potential bonuses, which would make him the highest-paid youngster.
Camarda, who stands at 184 centimetres tall, has made 31 appearances so far in total (2 of which were in Serie A under the guidance of head coach Stefano Pioli). He scored 12 goals and made 3 assists.
