A new name has recently been added to the shortlist of the AC Milan club management and it has fueled a lot of talk in the media. We are talking about young Turkish talent of Real Madrid: Arda Guler.
The player in question was wanted by the Rossoneri last summer. However, he chose to leave his former club, Fenerbahce, in favour of the Spanish giants.
In this morning's print edition, Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper has confirmed the rumours and published the following headline:
"Arda Guler, an idea in Brahim Diaz style."
The young talent hasn't found much space in Carlo Ancelotti's hierarchies, and that is partly due to an injury which affected the start of his season, but also because there are important players who are in form ahead of him: Jude Bellingham and Brahim Diaz.
Brahim Diaz, in fact, could be the perfect example for Guler to follow as a deal between AC Milan and Real Madrid is possible.
In fact, for Real, given the results achieved by the former Milan No. 10 who now plays regularly at the Bernabeu, it would be beneficial to loan out Guler to help him grow. Milan has a good relationship with Real, and the Rossoneri were already interested in the player.
It is, however, clear that Milan will want to protect themselves more than they did with Brahim, to avoid being regarded as a 'branch' type of club to Real Madrid.
