Zlatan Ibrahimovic's has been at Milan for a few months now since his return in a role of a consultant and 'Senior Advisor' to the club and the ownership. He already has the trust of Gerry Cardinale who said the following statements in a recent interview:

"Zlatan speaks on my behalf, and he does so with legitimacy and credibility."
Different reports have lately confirmed that the Swede will have a say in different aspects at Casa Milan, including the transfer market and the new coach for the next season.
Despite not having a designated office at Casa Milan, he always works closely with his colleagues Giorgio Furlani, Antonio D'Ottavio, and Geoffrey Moncada, with whom he seems to have established an excellent relationship. He is therefore preparing and studying to start making the first choices for the Rossoneri's transfer market from the next summer session.
Now, the latest news regarding this has been reported by the Italy-based website Calcio Style. There are already two signings ready for Milan's summer transfer market, and in both cases, the orchestrator of the operations would be Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
As for the new striker, the Rossoneri would be strongly interested in Sporting Lisbon's striker, Viktor Gyokeres, who scored 18 goals in 22 matches. Besides being compatriots, the former Rossoneri striker is a great admirer of the 25-year-old player.
The other addition should come in midfield, where the Rossoneri club has requested information for Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, a Tottenham midfielder with excellent physicality. The 28-year-old Dane is reportedly highly appreciated by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
