Last night at the San Siro, AC Milan won against Slavia Prague in a match which saw 6 goals scored. The Rossoneri won 4-2. The match was not easy, and even Stefano Pioli admitted that his team could have done more (read here).

As reported this morning by Il Corriere dello Sport in this morning's print edition, Stefano Pioli's team, as has often been the case this season, were shaky and unstable throughout the 90 minutes.

On one hand, after a sluggish start, they shook themselves and managed to score four goals. On the other hand, despite the Rossoneri benefiting from numerical superiority at home from the 26th minute, they were guilty of two defensive lapses that allowed Slavia to score two goals, keeping everything open for the return leg, especially as it will be played in the heated atmosphere of Prague's Eden Arena.

Even in 11 versus 11, it was clear that the game would be different from the first leg against Rennes, with the Czech side proving to be much more courageous and the Rossoneri showing several weaknesses in defensive transitions.

Ultimately, considering everything, the difference is made by none other than Rafael Leao, who only needs to touch the ball a few times to help his team and provide important assists or goals.

Now, in a week's time, Milan will have to sweat it out in Prague, and last night the 4,500 fans who arrived from the capital of the Czech Republic already gave a taste of the atmosphere in which Pioli's team will find itself.
