After serving his two-match suspension following the expulsion he received a few weeks ago against Monza, Luka Jovic is back available for Stefano Pioli in the league, and tomorrow afternoon at San Siro against Empoli, he will lead Milan's attack, with Olivier Giroud instead initially starting from the bench.

This was reported this morning by the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, which explains that the Milan coach is inclined towards a relay between the strikers: the Serbian will start against Empoli, while the Frenchman will return to the starting lineup on Thursday against Slavia Prague, in the match valid for the return of the Europa League round of 16.
So far this season, the 26-year-old Serbian forward Luka Jovic has managed to score 8 goals (and one assist) after 898 minutes played across 23 matches in all competitions.
As for 37-year-old Olivier Giroud, he has 14 goals and 9 assists registered to his name this season across all competitions. He played a total of 2509 minutes after 33 matches.
