Felice Raimondo, a journalist with expertise in jurisprudence, commented on the latest news regarding the Guardia di Finanza's investigation into the sale of Milan from Elliott to RedBird and the inclusion of Furlani and Gazidis in the list of suspects as follows:
"Milan absolutely faces no risk at the sporting level, the investigation concerns the CEOs Furlani and former Gazidis. They risk the penalties provided for by Article 2638 of the Civil Code. Furthermore, Elliott no longer exercises influence over Lille for some time now. So, hypothesizing a violation of the regulations on multiple ownership is at least imaginative."
Raimondo continued:
"The investigation seems to rest on anything but solid grounds. However, it might accelerate the entry of the Arab partner in place of Elliott (today creditor of RedBird). We will see."
