In the past few hours, a rumour has started to circulate that Atalanta would like Paolo Maldini as their next sporting director. Speaking to Sky microphones, the CEO of the Bergamo club, Luca Percassi, has dismissed the rumors regarding the former captain and executive of Milan:
"It's totally fake news, although Maldini is a person of great level and prestige. We have a sporting director like D'Amico who is quietly doing a great job for the club. This is a completely unfounded news."
